Where did this symbol even come from? Nobody knows, but there are theories ranging from graffiti, to heavy metal logos, the Superman shield, and about a dozen other places. Sadly, none of them ever really add up. Somehow, this little six-line drawing ended up in school notebooks all over the world without anyone being able to point to who made it.
I don't really care if we ever figure it out though. I just like that it exists. A symbol that belongs to everyone because it belongs to no one. Printed on 70's-00's blank tees with real wear throughout, because something that's been passed around for generations probably shouldn't feel brand new.
